What Matters Originals

I find that we have to look inward to ourselves at our heart and mind to decide what steps are needed to grow and change and the bottom line in this evaluation process is determining “What Matters.” The shapes and composition come from looking at what is surrounding me in my studio and from photos of places and events. I start by drawing what thoughts come to mind in an abstract form. The process is from a very meditative state and I always pray over each piece before I begin. It is after creating the art that I title the art work.
